Eau Claire Real Estate

Brian's Favorite Eats

Ray's  Place  -  Located at 838 Water Street, Eau Claire, WI.  Unquestionably the best roast beef sandwich I have ever eaten.  Piled high and covered with gravy on a bun, served on nothing but a napkin.  Add a slab of onion or perhaps a piece of cheese to change things up a bit.  Top if off with Ray's famous hot mustard(be careful) and your set for a great lunch, dinner, or late night snack.  You might want to ask for a fork with this one.  A great lunch for under $5.00.

Mike's Smokehouse  -  Located at 2235 N. Clairemont Avenue.  Another Eau Claire hometown favorite.  Nothing but the best in bar-b-que.  I love their Country Style Ribs that comes with a couple sides to pick from.  I would go with Mike's spuds and their terrific baked beans if I were you.  The baked fish is always good along with the veggie salad and baked potato.  I promise you will not leave the table hungry.  Great service and good prices.

Cancun  -  Located at 2120 Highland Avenue.  Want great Mexican food?  This is it.  All of it is good, the food, the service, and the prices.  I would recommend the Chori Polo.  Three pieces of chicken covered with ground seasoned pork and then smothered with a white cheese sauce, tasty.  You get beans and fried rice with this as well.  I like to get extra cheese sauce, helps the keep the mouth cooled down.  Oh, one thing to remember here.  Their service is like no other, so do not be afraid to hold off on ordering so that you can enjoy your chips and salsa and perhaps a margarita.  Once you order, it will not take long for your food to arrive.

Tokyo  -  Located at 2426 London Road.  Japanese at it finest.  Fun to watch and even better to eat.  You get the whole treatment here.  From the cleaning of your hands with hot cloths to green tea that will help settle your meal.  My favorite here is the chicken and shrimp dinner.  Done perfectly with the most awesome flavor.  My little guy(hes really not little) and I always share an order of calamari, the best I have ever had.  And if you like to have a cocktail with your meal, try their hot Saki.  One is all you will need.  Great service and atmosphere.  Not a cheap date but every bit worth the price.
